SIMPLE STEPS ON HOW YOU CAN HELP in 2012
1. SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS Register now and help us raise funds for children in remote Indigenous communities. We’re aiming to get 500 schools across Australia involved in a Great Book Swap on Indigenous Literacy Day on 5 September. Register early and you can go in the draw to win a visit from one of our high profile ambassadors and authors or win one of the many other book prizes for your library or school
2. AUSTRALIAN BOOK INDUSTRY: Authors, Bookshops and Publishers
Register now and support us by becoming an advocate, speaking at local schools, events or at libraries. Help us raise support during the National Year of Reading.
3. BUSINESSES: BECOME A CORPORATE FUNDRAISER OR SPONSOR.
Register and hold an event on Indigenous Literacy Day on Wednesday 5 September 2012.
4. INDIVIDUALS: Make a donation today. Register to become a volunteer. Tell a neighbour, friend, schoolteacher, professional colleague about the Foundation and enlist their support. Hold a fundraiser on Indigenous Literacy Day.
